This is governed by the relevant legal regulations and by your consent. We would like to point out that you can revoke your consent for future instances at any time either electronically (info@schema.de) or by mail (SCHEMA Consulting GmbH, Hugo-Junkers-Str. 15-17, 90411 Nürnberg). We will forward your personal data to the relevant addressee within SCHEMA Consulting GmbH as appropriate for processing your request. It will be deleted after the legal retention period has expired. Your personal data will, as a rule, not be forwarded to third parties, even in parts, except if a legal norm dictates this or you have given your consent.
Insofar as we use service providers for data processing, contractual relationships are governed by the regulations of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

On our website, we offer company and product information downloads. For this service, we request your email address. After you click the “Download” button, you receive a confirmation and shortly afterwards a download link sent to your email address. Providing a telephone number is optional. If you provide a telephone number, we use this or your email address to check on your level of satisfaction following the download.

Data for marketing, consulting and/or advertisement purposes are only captured, processed and/or used if you have given us your prior consent.

You have the right to know about the personal data we have stored about you, as well as a right to request corrections to this data, and to have it blocked or deleted. If requested, we will gladly make our public procedure register according to § 4 e BDSG available to you.

Links to Other Providers
Our website links to the internet presences of third parties; these links are clearly marked. Via these links, we solely provide access to the usage of other site content according to § 8 German Teleservices Act. Insofar as we link to websites of other providers, we have no influence over their content. We give no warranty and assume no liability for this content. The respective provider of the pages is solely responsible for the content of their pages. When we first linked them, we checked the third-party pages for possible civil or penal violations and noticeable infringements. We could not detect illegal content at the point when we linked them. It is not possible for us to constantly monitor the content of the linked pages without a concrete indication of an infringement. If we are made aware of a legal infringement, such links are immediately removed.

Security
In general, the Internet is an insecure medium. Information which you send us by unencrypted email can potentially be read by third parties during transfer. Legal communication by email is not warranted. We use filters against undesired ads (“spam filters”) which may accidentally classify normal emails as undesirable ads and delete them. Emails containing malware (“viruses”) are automatically deleted as well.
If you want to send us data that needs to be protected, we recommend encrypting it and preferably signing it digitally in order to prevent unauthorized access and corruption during transfer, or sending us the data by conventional mail. To protect the personal data of our clients, employees and/or vendors against unauthorized access, damage, loss, destruction, and/or manipulation, we have taken technical and organizational measures. These are continuously monitored and updated according to the latest technology.

Cookies
Our internet pages use so-called cookies in several places. These are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Cookies serve to make our offerings more user-friendly and secure.
The cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your browser session ends. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain any viruses. Most web browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you have the possibility to change your browser’s settings if you do not want to transmit the information. This may mean, however, that you will not be able to access all offerings of our web pages.

Google Analytics
This web site uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files that are stored on your computer, and makes it possible to analyze your use of our website. The information gathered by cookies about your use of this website is transmitted to a server at Google in the USA and stored there. Google Analytics uses this web site with the extension „_anonymizeIp()“. For this reason, your IP address is first truncated by Google in the member states of the European Union or in other states that are part of the agreement of the European economic zone. Only in exceptions will the full IP address be transmitted by Google to the USA and truncated there. On our behalf, Google uses this information to analyze your use of the website, to create reports about website activity, and to provide other services in connection with website and internet use for the website owner. Google will not connect the IP address communicated by your browser in the context of Google Analytics with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of these cookies through the respective setting in your browser. We would like to point out, however, that in that case you may not be able to make full use of the functionality of our website. In addition, you can object at any point to data created by the cookie and data relevant to your use of the website (including your IP address) being captured in the future by Google, as well as Google’s future use of this data, by downloading and installing the browser plugin at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Usage of Social Plug-ins Facebook, Google+, Xing, LinkedIn, YouTube
Our internet presence uses the social plug-ins Facebook, Google+, Xing, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The services are provided by Facebook Inc. (1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025 USA). California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA), Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA – YouTube belongs to Google Inc.), XING AG (Dammtorstraße 32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany) as well as the LinkedIn Corporation (2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). You can find an overview of the providers’ plug-ins on their respective internet pages. You can recognize the plug-ins through the respective logos or buttons.
When you visit a page of our website that contains a social plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective provider. Google, Facebook, etc. directly transfers the plugin content to your browser which embeds the latter into the website, enabling the respective provider to receive information about your having accessed the respective page of our website. If you are logged in at a provider’s site, the service provider can map your visit to your user account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button, or entering a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to the respective provider and stored there. Even if you don’t have an account with one of the mentioned providers, the providers can gather data, e.g. your IP address. For information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the provider, as well as your respective rights and settings options for protecting your privacy, please see the providers’ guidelines on their websites. If you do not want Google, Facebook etc. to link your visit to our site and the gathered data to your profile, please log out of your user account.

If you have questions regarding data protection in the context of this website, please contact us at info@schema.de or by telephone at +49 911 586861-0.
