SCHEMA Group: Introducing Dr. Florian Irmert, New Research & Development Manager

As the new manager of SCHEMA's Research and Development department as of July 2015, Dr. Florian Irmert completes the management team of the Nürnberg Component Content Management System manufacturer. The newcomer in the management team of the software manufacturer is ambitious. In addition to the continuous improvement of the software process of SCHEMA ST4 and the CDS, he aims to put customer satisfaction and customer requirements front and center. He is also planning systematic optimization of usability, and is continuing to work on ensuring the high quality of the applications.

He studied computer engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, and obtained his doctorate in the area of modular database systems. Even today he lectures at the FAU on the subject of eBusiness Technologies. During the last years, he was responsible for managing the programming team at HOTEL DE.
He explains his decision to move to SCHEMA Group as follows: "SCHEMA is an established company that has retained the flexibility and the short decision-making processes of a start-up. You can feel the company's passion for their products - SCHEMA doesn't just want to satisfy their customers, but delight them, too. This approach matches my ideas exactly."

Dr. Irmert has already acclimated himself to SCHEMA and has taken on the collegial tone of the midsized company. "It feels like I've already been here much longer. The good contact to colleagues is a great asset which has been valued and cultivated over the last years. I can't imagine being welcomed in any company more warmly than here.
